About founder Thomas Brown
I have about 34 years in Public Accounting with various roles in client service and positions in the real estate, hospitality and construction industry leadership, engaged in auditing, business advisory services and strategic consulting based in Atlanta, London, Tokyo, Chicago and Winston-Salem, NC.
I have audited, observed, and advised real estate entities of all sizes throughout my career; which has given me the right foundation to utilize my executive skills in finance, valuation and operations to focus on a massive need in social impact investing.
For too long, there has been an overwhelming lack of investment into certain areas and people, which can be corrected. I strongly believe that the value of social responsibility investment is by investing in a holistic plan to drive affordable and equitable housing, create new economic ecosystems, and provide financial and wealth creation opportunities for people who are in underserved communities. It isn’t just better for the population as a whole but is a sound investment opportunity.
Seeing the best in people is my first nature and I have always had a predisposition to help and provide kindness to others wherever I can. Growing up, the biggest opportunities were through church and through the boy scouts. As an adult, I tried to display this for my daughters as we travelled throughout the world. I have tried to do things, no matter what, to promote fairness and support others.
About 10 years ago, after working in real estate over 25 years, I came up with a thought that there should be more investment toward affordable and functioning communities – and the idea was formed.
As time went on, the idea became a plan and after leaving public accounting in 2023 the plan became a detailed vision - The vision to create the largest mission-based real estate investment entity specifically focused on community development primarily in under-invested communities

The Problem is that we keep looking at poverty and communities in need as a “Problem” (to be solved); but we need to look at it as an “Opportunity.”
We have the chance to invest in people and communities and create new economic ecosystems and community bases. Just because no one has done it to this scale yet does not mean that it cannot be done.
